The Children’s dance troupe of the Sama Ballet Troupe was formed in year 2000. The children are trained in traditional dance forms by the best nationally recognized exponents of the respective styles of dance.
The troupe already had their Sri Lankan debut and exhibited their talents at the 2002 Island international children’s festival in Taiwan. Troupe had also performed at the commemoration of the 2550th Buddha Jayanthi in Japan in 2006
They exhibited their talents at IX Festival Folkloric 2006 International Juvenile Del Bidasoa. Irunn in Spain and at the 2006 International children’s Festival Gauargi, Splatter in France & participated Yilan intern children’s folklore & folkgame festival (YICF) in Taiwan 2013.
